To promote, advance and encourage bagpipe playing and drumming and to promote the traditions of the playing of pipe band music.

Milngavie Pipe Band has been established for almost 49 years and continually struggles for funding particularly to fund the travel to competition.

A total of around 30 young people between the ages of 9-17yrs are instructed in the art of piping and drumming. We run a Novice juvenile band together with an Adult band which has a membership of around 25 persons.
