The Therapy Centre opened in May 1993 providing Hyper-baric Oxygenation therapy (HBOT), Massage, Reflexology, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and Reiki for the people of Milton Keynes and surrounding areas. We are a small, friendly, independent charity offering alternative therapies not usually available on NHS.
Although the MS Centre was initially set up offering HBO therapy to members with MS, our services have always been accessible to members with many different conditions such as ME, Fibromyalgia, Arthritis, Cancer and children diagnosed with Autism and Cerebral Palsy. More recently after the global Covid pandemic, we have had many members joining the MS Centre for HBO treatment, known to help improve the symptoms of Long Covid. We are one of very few Centres in surrounding areas who offer services to members with varying conditions. We can provide relief for people with many varying symptoms.
The MS Centre is proud to say that we make our services available to all who seek them. We have a very diverse member base, ranging from children through to the elderly. Over recent years, in our endeavour to reach out further across the community, we have also raised our profile on social media. The MS Centre is more than just a Centre offering these services - we are very much a social hub for our members, where they feel comfortable to sit and have a refreshment whilst sharing their experiences with fellow members and offering reassurance to one another. Our members are the true advocates of the services offered at the MS Centre.
