Our impact on the community
Over 2 victims per week are killed by current or ex-partners. 1 in 4 women and 1 in 6 men in the UK will experience domestic violence in their lifetime. Milton Keynes has the highest repeat level of incidents in the Thames valley area. On average a person will be assaulted 35 times before they call the police. Last year we supported over 2000 who were affected by domestic abuse. 100% of these people who needed it, had a safety plan within 48 hours.
