To provide a safe environment and facilities for exercise, relaxation and recreation with the aim to improve conditions of life of people living within the borough of Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas who have an established diagnosis of ischemic heart disease and/or cardiopulmonary disease.
Why the community needs usTo reduce the risk of premature death and to enable the fullest possible recovery and the return to a normal functioning life within society.
Our impact on the communityThe overarching objectives for the service are: to empower the individual to reduce their risk of a further episode or deterioration of their condition: to improve their confidence: to enable them to return to work and take part fully in society.
