As the direct impact of Covid-19 starts to pass, Mutual Aid groups across Brent are joining forces to set up a Brent Mutual Aid Fund. The Brent Mutual Aid fund provides assistance to Brent residents who are struggling financially as a result of COVID-19. This fund can be used for anything, there is neither judgement nor is there an obligation to pay back the money. This is run in direct accordance with principles of mutual aid - “from each according to their ability, to each according to their need”.

Any one who needs financial support can apply. Funds are available for up to £50 per application, with one application per month (to be reviewed depending on available funds).

Applications to the fund should be made simply by making contact with your local mutual aid group and asking to be referred.

However, our fund is only as strong as your donations. If you are able to contribute to the fund, a suggested contribution is one hour’s wage per month, but smaller, larger and one-off contributions are of course all equally welcome. If you would like to make a regular contribution please click here https://opencollective.com/brent-solidarity-fund/donate  For one off donation, please continue on this page.  Suggested donations are as follows…
