Why the community needs us

We aim to provide a regular newsletter, Chesterton News, to the whole community providing information about activities and opportunities for local people to participate in community life. We aim to provide a focus for community input into the support and improvement of Chesterton's open spaces and community facilities.

Our impact on the community

Pilot edition of Chesterton News published in December 2011 was well received. This project brought together Chesterton's churches, community centres and local volunteers to form an editorial team backed by Chesterton Community Association and provide the volunteers to deliver into East and West Chesterton. Provided the backing for the first Chesterton Festival and developed it into an independent Chesterton Festival Committee to run future festivals.
