New4You is a youth group for the 11-18 age group. It meets in two separate sessions: With a programme from 6.15pm - 8.15pm and an open session from 8.15pm - 10.15pm. The project, known as the Big Build aims to build a multi-purpose youth centre, as an extension to the current building. Over recently years it has become apparent that the organisation has fast outgrown its current space. The Big Build is an exciting project to provide a centre for young people in the heart of the city.

New4You youth group plan to open their facility all year round: To increase the provision for young people in the City of Plymouth at a time when government cuts mean that the voluntary sector needs to respond. To provide a safe, constructive and wholesome environment for the young people at a time when many are being tempted to make poor choices of life style. To offer alternative, more positive guidance for young people in need. To develop further the strong and growing team of volunteers.

On Friday evenings there are large numbers of teenagers coming along to the club. Recently there has been a lot of troubled youth causing many issues throughout the city centre during the week. On Friday nights when open the club provides a safe place for young people. The project result would be to open the facility more frequently so that more young people could engage in positive activities. The area would also provide a potential base for detached youth work at weekends and during the week.
