Newark keeps 500 disadvantaged children and young people engaged in positive activities every week and away from drugs, alcohol, gangs, crime & anti-social behaviour. Our impact on the community
Newark is a user-led organisation and young people develop and take on responsibility as they get older. The majority of our staff are sessional staff and all our football activities are delivered using passionate volunteers. In 2016-17, we worked with 1,080 children and adults, 89 achieved accredited qualification/certificate, 80 moved closer to work and 35 volunteered.
We are looking for adults to volunteer as football coaches on Saturday mornings. Also, require experienced volunteers to help the organisation with fundraising, social media and be part of the Trustee board.
