We train children to play water polo. This entails a lot of swimming but with a ball, chasing other players, shooting and wrestling in the water to get into the best positions.
We take all ability swimmers, everyone wants to enjoy the sport. Our better players will play for regional and national teams but 95% just want to have fun.
We purchased a minibus to enable those on low incomes the access to away games and busy parents the rest while we take their children away for games. We usually end up at McDonalds to replace some calories burnt off.
The children have a memorable time, in the bus with sport, food and their friends.
We train older players to become referees and coaches for the younger players coming through - under our supervision.
We are the third largest team in the UK and aim to be the largest in 4 years.
