North Petherton Football Club was formed in 1974 and forms part of the Taunton and District Saturday Football League. The Club is a Chartered Standard Football Club The Football Club provides sporting activities to encourage community members to participate in physical activities from the ages of 3 years through to adults.

To ensure all people regardless of age, ability and gender or background can play in a high quality safe environment free from abuse. North Petherton Football club volunteers to engage with young people and contribute toward wider community benefits.We provide structure, management, leadership, create and develop an effective volunteer workshop within the club. We aim to increase the profile of the facility in the local community. We will support the development of coaches and volunteers.

By helping the Community change their behaviour patterns with additional options of different sporting groups and facilities this will enable everyone to participate in an increased healthy lifestyle that will meet Government objectives. Provide opportunities for volunteers and members provide wellness within the community. We aim to create working relationships with in the Community. We aim to increase participation of girls and women in sports and community projects.
