We provide day services, short breaks and social clubs for adults and children with a learning disability. We also campaign for the rights of people with a learning disability.
Why the community needs usWe provide a range of services to people with learning disabilities which they would be unable to access elsewhere. Activities include gardening, catering, IT and other independent living skills. We also have a short breaks service and social clubs as well as a team called Smile, Stop Hate Crime who tackle hate crime against people with a learning disability. Our services support over 300 people a year living in the Nottingham area.
Our impact on the communityWe enable our service users to socialize with their peers, learn new skills, become more independent and build their confidence.
