Notts YFC is a rural youth organisation for young people aged 10-30. Members meet weekly in one of Nottinghamshire's 8 clubs where they take on responsibilities, take part in positive activities, gain social skills and look after their physical and mental wellbeing.
As a young person living in a rural area it can be sometimes isolating, with a lack of opportunities or the ability to make friends outside of the school or work day, Young Farmers fills that gap and gives our members the soft skills they'll need in life.
We have clubs at Brackenhurst, Collingham, Cropwell, Lowdham, Papplewick, Southwell, Tuxford and Worksop who meet weekly and welcome all new members, alongside the club weekly meetings we host over 35 competitions as a county each year from public speaking to Hockey, stockjudging and digital crafts so there's something for everyone.
