Nurture Dogs aim to bring the pleasure and therapeutic value of the human animal bond to as many people as possible.We combine animal contact and activities with the therapeutic philosophy of Occupational Therapy. Nurture Dogs is an organisation that majors on empowering people, providing choices and opportunities where perhaps these do not currently exist. We also have three projects Waggy Tails Colchester, Waggy Tails Brentwood and Dedham Therapy and Work Experience Farm.

Nurture Dogs provides therapy and work for a wide range of people some with additional needs and some who have other barriers to their daily living such as health, confidence, low self esteem or anxiety and stress. In the last year we have helped 100 children in schools, 20 adults in hospital, and 20 people with complex needs in residential homes. This year we hope to double that amount.

Those who use our Farm and our therapy will have choices and opportunities such as work placements/experience and therapy which will help them manage barriers in their lives. We will see a definite positive change in those lives and a complete turn around in many people.
