To empower local people to take an active part in their community. -Promote the engagement of all older people in the Seven Sisters area.-Develop supportive links with local community organizations including Age Concern Haringey -Support weekly keep fit and line dancing sessions in the Seven Sisters area.Visit/celebrate local and national places of interest.To emphasize that each of our members opinions matter, that they are not alone!

O&B discovered that the over riding community benefits our members wanted addressed was to feel healthier, not be isolated, empower local people to take an active part in their community and that they have a worldly voice that needs to be heard! Engagement and development of supportive links with local community organisations such as Age Concern Haringey and 'HAVCO' Haringey Association of Voluntary and Community Organisations would best inform O&B members on the direction they needed to take

Some of our members attend all 3 activities a week; friendships have blossomed,all are vocal on a variety of community issues and have declared how much healthier and happier they are! Engagement and development of supportive links with local community organisations has resulted in a better understanding of our local and national plight and the direction O&B would like to continue; which is to pursue the 3 activities per week and look forward to the Annual Christmas Buffet/Places of Interest!
