For over 30 years, Open Arts has been successfully running a core programme for independent users, which involves drama, dance, music, writing and visual arts for disabled adults. In addition to the core activities for independent users we produce other stand-alone projects to engage more disabled people, including children & young people, in the arts

-Increased social interaction
-Became more active

Our impact on the community
In the words of our participants:
"Just because you are disabled it doesn't mean that you shouldn't enjoy the arts it doesn't mean you shouldn't participate in your particular art form and that's what Open Arts is all about; opening up the arts to everyone"
"Dancing feels like flying. My body feels so light and really like I'm flying when I dance with Luminous Soul. My disability has become beautiful - not something to hide."
