We aim to spread the use of music therapy and build partnerships in the community to provide lasting benefits to hundreds of children and adults who have physical, psychological, learning or neurological difficulties, including children with learning difficulties or autism, adults who have had a stroke and elderly people with dementia. We aim to improve their communication and social interaction skills, focus and creativity, help them gain confidence, reduce anxiety and improve self-expression.

Why the community needs us
We are dedicated to making a difference to society's most vulnerable people who are often excluded from community activities, helping them to reach their potential. "OK Music School offers a wonderful, supportive, space for my child to develop music skills. It has brought light into our lives." "The children are given a chance to shine which is great for their confidence, and makes us proud." Our concerts bring joy to the pupils, families and community and help reduce the stigma of disability.

Our impact on the community
We help over 290 people annually at music therapy sessions and music projects, including Music Club which encourages creativity, concentration and communication for 70 young children with additional needs; OK Music School, where over 55 children and young people with disabilities learn to play instruments or sing and perform in our concerts, greatly increasing their confidence and social skills, and OK Youth Group which helps 20 young people with mental health issues re-integrate into society.
