Formed in 1979, and formally known as Colchester Gay Switchboard, to support the whole lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans communities with a range of health and social needs.
Why the community needs usWe offer specialised support for LGBT people who may be dealing with difficult things in their lives. This could be due to social or family pressures, homophobia, sexual health needs, feelings of isolation, difficulty in coming out or legal problems. We also work with other organisations to help improve how they work with LGBT people. We believe in equality and for LGBT people to aim high and achieve well in life.
