To provide Hospice care to the people of Calderdale living with a life limiting illness through our Day Hospice, In Patient Unit and Support Services (including counselling, complimentary therapies and chaplaincy). Overgate Hospice cares for the whole person and their families. We do not charge for any services.

Overgate Hospice benefits the community by providing care to patients and their families when they need it most. Overgate operates an inpatient unit which includes a respite bed, runs a Day Hospice service, therapy days, complementary therapy, counselling and a carers group. Overgate Hospice knows that although we cannot add days to the life of our patients we can add life to the days of our patients, making the most of the time they have left.

Overgate continues to provide outstanding care to the people of Calderdale, ensuring patients and their families are supported at a difficult time. Overgate aims to care for the whole person to give them the best possible quality of life. We provide support for their families and carers. Treatment is based upon an approach that treats each person as an individual. We care for the "whole person" including their physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs.
