Panthers is a not for profit community basketball club. We provide a fun, welcoming environment in Aberdeen City & Shire for everyone regardless of ability, to play basketball and develop to their full potential. Our teams play under the name of Panthers and our Values are: P articipation | A ttitude | N urturing | T eamwork | H ustle | E ncouragement | R espect | S portsmanship. We have teams of boys and girls from age 8 to over 60!

Why the community needs us
Panthers delivers coached sporting activity, which provides structure and social interactions to a wide range of ages and abilities. We develop and encourage our young volunteers to gain basketball qualifications; to increase their knowledge and help increase their confidence.

Our impact on the community
Every week, over 300 individuals (players, coaches and volunteers) attend basketball sessions at a Panthers Basketball Club! We continue to reach out to our community by developing and providing appropriate age/ability sessions, to encourage physical activity and promote social interaction and positive mental health wellbeing. Our teams play in local and national leagues, and our youth teams play in local development leagues as well as travelling to tournaments nationally.
