We are a National Portfolio Organisation for Arts Council England working to create, produce and tour multi-platform work for and with communities and young people. We work with artists of the highest calibre, enabling us to make "pilot" projects - original commissions, tours, conferences, workshops, digital delivery and participatory projects. We are strategic leaders in the field of digital networks and are pioneers in the delivery and distribution of work to maximise worldwide participation.

Why the community needs us
Education and youth engagement are core to Pilot Theatre's work. We are one of very few mid-scale national touring companies to be based outside of London and we are therefore able to offer unique training and work opportunities for artists and young people that they are unable to get anywhere else in the region. We nurture emergent talent and work with leading practitioners and diverse teams across all our working platforms to deliver a wide variety of ground-breaking arts projects.
