Why the community needs usWe are here as the only community resource centre in the neighbourhood to support & meet the needs and aspirations of local people. We are active members of various partnerships, Forums and Networks with many community, voluntary and statutory organisations to enable local people to access a range of support services. We obtain funding to provide activities and services to meet newly identified needs based on local community research. We encourage collective action to improve community cohesion
Our impact on the communityIncrease participation and engagement opportunities to enable the local community to have a voice in local decision-making, Improve the health & wellbeing of local families & communities. To enable the Centre to become a well organised and responsive 'hub' organisation to meet local needs and aspirations. We work with local residents to try to bring a new sense of pride in the neighbourhood during a period of transition within a complex & disruptive ongoing housing market renewal programme.
