Quiet Waters offers free Counselling and Listening Support Services

Quiet Waters aim is to provide a range of listening and counselling services for the people of Central Scotland that will improve the quality of life of individuals and families, by enhancing their ability to cope with trauma and loss, to overcome personal, relational, and spiritual difficulties and to re-establish a sense of self-worth and connectedness within the family and wider community. Why the community needs us
We offer the following services free to the user: general counselling, bereavement counselling and listening service, and spiritual care. Our clients are generally disadvantaged and cannot afford to pay for this service. Through counselling, they are able to overcome the effects of trauma, depression, anxiety, isolation and loss, and resume a healthy life with their families, get back to work and benefit the local community, and society as a whole.

Our impact on the community
Hundreds of people benefit from our services annually through our counselling, listening and spiritual support services. To quote one beneficiary, "Quiet Waters changed my life. I could never see myself feeling happy or even normal, but after the counselling and support I received, I now feel the best I have ever felt.
