The National Rape Crisis Helpline is accessible 365 days a year to women who have survived rape and sexual abuse, offering specialised, confidential support, information and referral details.

According to the British Crime Survey 40% of adults who are raped tell no one about it. 31% of children who are abused reach adulthood without having disclosed their abuse. As a first step many survivors find it easier to talk anonymously and confidentially. The Helpline aims to provide a supportive, non-judgemental, safe space for survivors to begin talking about their experiences.

The National Rape Crisis Helpline provides survivors of sexual violence with the support and information they need to access specialist medical, legal and therapeutic services in order to recover from their experience of sexual violence.
