ReadiBus is an accessible minibus service for people with restricted mobility in Berkshire.
The service gives independence to people who are unable to use mainstream buses due to fraility, disability or illness. Passengers are able to book journeys anywhere in the local area and staff offer assistance to and from the bus. Assistance can include offering an arm for support, help carrying shopping or help pushing a wheelchair.
Why the community needs usReadiBus offers freedom and independence to people who would otherwise have great difficulties getting out. The service can help to reduce isolation and provides a lifeline to people. Through your generosity of donations, pledges, legacies, grants, time, we hope to be able to continue delivering a service 7 days a week, across the area. Please contact Harriet at ReadiBus if you are interested in volunteering to fundraise, or if you prefer you can donate via the "button" on this page.
Our impact on the communityWith your help, we hope to buy equipment including wheelchairs, bus equipment, as well as raising money for a new bus, to be able to continue providing transport for people with restricted mobility in Reading, Wokingham and Newbury.
