Reading Welfare Rights specialises in providing welfare benefit advice to those in the most desperate need. Our casework tends to be highly complex and time consuming, which is why we take our time to understand our clients needs, to treat them as individuals and to work with them over a longer period of time if necessary.
Why the community needs us
The demand from vulnerable clients in Reading for help in claiming benefits has been increasing and more complex benefit processes and regulations have left many clients with benefit awards being withdrawn. These clients are often the least able in society to navigate the new benefits' landscape and they are the most deserving and appropriate recipients of benefit awards. We provide strong advocacy and support to ensure that this support is provided to claimants.
