The charity provides education, care and support programmes to disadvantaged children and families. We have a diverse range of community projects working with all ages from babies to adults. We run volunteering programmes facilitating educational support groups for children ages 0-5, youth clubs for 8-18yrs, educational trips for children, youth mentoring programmes, after school meal support, outreach work engaging youth on the street, health and fitness classes and coffee mornings for older residents.

Life after COVID 19 - Life is hard for many residents, and especially for young people. We are experiencing high levels of poor mental health issues arising from social isolation, cyber bullying, low self esteem and gang violence. To help our cause we are developing a mentoring service to support young people suffering from depression, low self confidence, poor physical health and increased levels of social anxiety. There is also a staggering number of young people getting caught up in County Lines (youth violence, drugs, grooming and sexual exploitation)

Why the community needs us
The Trust works to bring local residents together to support each other strengthening community cohesion in supporting some of the most vulnerable in our community. Residents benefit from various support groups and have access to free activities run by qualified staff and trained volunteers who have worked many years in the community.

Our impact on the community
The charity reaches over 500 families and children every year. 120 young people attend youth clubs, sport programmes and specialised support every week. Last year more than 4000 residents visited the Trust for services, support and information.
