Our dedicated, knowledgeable and friendly support teams protect victims and survivors of domestic abuse through our safe and secure refuges and safe-houses as well as our IDVA, outreach, floating support and group work services in the community.
Why the community needs usSafeNet make a stand against domestic abuse and violence in the communities we work in. We promote healthy relationships and support recovery from the impact of abuse enabling people to re-build their lives and connect back into communities, overcoming the isolation often experienced through abusive partners and families.
Our impact on the communitySince 1976 we have supported well over 15,000 people. Each year we provide around 800 adults and about 750 children a safe place to stay, which is around 100 families on any day. Our IDVA, Outreach and Group workers support 100's of people every week and our Children's IDVA and Children's Outreach teams hold caseloads of up to 40 children as part of their recovery and resilience building.
