The aim of Salisbury Sea Cadets is to help young people towards responsible adulthood and to encourage them to reach their potential by developing valuable personal attributes and high standards of conduct, using a nautical theme based on the customs and traditions of the Royal Navy.
Why the community needs usWe provide the youth of Salisbury with an opportunity to experience and get qualified in various aspects of maritime life; Power - Rowing - Canoeing - Sailing - Diving. It's not all waterborne. Much of our training is carried out within the Unit: Drill & Ceremonial - Seamanship - Communications - Cook Steward - Marine Engineering - Climbing - Music - Football - Swimming Leadership - Duke of Edinburgh - BTEC - CNVQ. We also allow other groups and charities to use our fantastic facilities.
