Merseyside club SAVI promotes sports and well-being for the visually impaired.
SAVI Northwest (Sports and Activities for the Visually Impaired) is a club organisation based in Merseyside. SAVI was established in January 2009 by visually impaired people for visually impaired people.
We aim to:
Develop, deliver and promote inclusive sports and activities bespoke to the needs of blind and partially sighted people.
Increase participation of blind and partially sighted people in sports and activities.
Improve health and wellbeing of blind and partially sighted people.
Harness lived experience to champion role modelling and peer support
Create pathways to enable individuals to achieve their full potential.
Offer wider social benefits in a range of environments.
