We work behind the scenes to help local charities and community groups achieve their full potential, and we've been doing this in Southend for more than 30 years. We do this in a number of ways including; supporting them with training, advice and practical help; helping them raise money and spend wisely; keeping them informed about changes in the charity sector; bringing them together to exchange ideas; representing their views to local government, funding bodies and others.

As well as supporting local voluntary sector groups, we also deliver a number of community based projects. Working with people and families from all walks of life, our role is to empower people and give them a voice.
