Say Aphasia Charity supports adults with aphasia via social support groups.
By breaking down the ability to communicate, Aphasia disconnects people from their families, their friends, their work and their world.
Aphasia is not a well known condition and so people with this communication disability can feel alone and isolated from their community. It is caused by brain injury, stroke, tumours, or progressive neurological diseases.
The Say Aphasia Charity provides longterm supportive drop-in groups for people with aphasia in the UK.
Our aim is to provide continuous support in a social environment with people who are experiencing similar life changes.
At Say Aphasia, we believe in a world where everyone understands aphasia and those living with it feel empowered and included.
