We exist to help lost, injured or distressed persons in and around the North Yorkshire Moors, Wolds and Coast. We also spends time in the local community educating people to be safe in the hills and what to do if something goes wrong. We are funded 100% from fundraising and voluntary contributions.

We are very much a community based organisation who provide a search and rescue service for our local community and the many visitors to our beautiful national park.

The team will often respond to call outs to assist in searches for despondent or vulnerable people missing from home, this means our service extends well beyond people enjoying outdoor pursuits.
