Affiliated to the British and International Federation for Music, Dance and Speech we hold an annual Music Festival during the last two weekends of November. Competitors of all ages bring their musical talents to Selston and receive top adjudication to help them achieve and flourish in their musical ambitions. Classes at the festival include INSTRUMENTAL - pianoforte, brass, strings, woodwind and VOCAL - choral, solo performances for a wide range of musical genres from classical to modern.

Would you like to help to keep tradition alive in your local area? In days gone by every village had a music festival. In our area all have fallen by the wayside except for Selston. The reason it has survived is the sheer hard work ethic and determination of the Committee and Patrons/Friends of the Festival. The Committee work and fundraise all year in order to stage the Annual Festival in November.
