Friends of Shanti Bee (FoSB).

The initiative is to raise awareness of both the physical and mental health benefits of Complementary and Alternative Health and reach more isolated or vulnerable communities.

Local organisational members including Tyneside Women's Health, NIWE, Key Enterprises, Tyneside Mind, North Tyenside Carers, Chilli Studios, Building Futures East.

Under this scheme we run free bespoke well being courses for vulnerable groups. Recent courses include Yoga for Anxiety, Trauma Sensitive Yoga and Yoga for Absolute beginners, with an emphasis on chronic pain.

As a member of FoSB induvidulas are entitled to;

- 30-minute Complementary Health therapies for just £10 Monday – Friday*
- Concession rates for all our weekly classes
- A free cup of tea each time you come to visit us
- Free attendance to our Shanti Friday Well Being Workshops
