Through our regular groups, resource centre, and training, we combat the sense of exclusion our members experience. We give opportunities for friendships and mutual support, and prevent depression, enabling people to retain their independence for as long as possible. The activities currently enjoyed by our members are our two In-Touch groups (support/social groups), Yoga sessions, a Swimming and a Walking Group, a Book Group, regular excursions, and an escorted holiday, all specially-tailored.
Why the community needs usOur proven and much appreciated activities and support not only vastly improves the quality of life for an extremely vulnerable group of people, they also help them to use information and equipment to keep safe and healthy, and give the support they need to continue living independently as long as they possibly can, and play a full a role as possible in community life.
