Sixteenfeet has been producing site specific promenade theatre since 2008. Re-imagining classic stories for a new generation.  We embed the stories within the natural settings of walled gardens, parks, and green spaces. This introduces children to an accessible theatre experience as well as to the beauty of the natural environment. The setting becomes the world of the play within which we use props, costumes, and live music to tell our stories. Actor musicianship is at the heart of what we do.  The casting and creative team reflects the diversity of our city. aWe have developed an appreciative and loyal audience base throughout London.   

 Sixteenfeet works with writers, musicians and actors to produce original work in a contemporary and inventive way in non-traditional spaces. It is central to our ethos that the shows we produce are accessible and affordable to all.

 Our Lambeth Voices Programme works with all sections of the community, increasing participation in, and access to, creative opportunities. We work in partnership with Brixton Youth Theatre  to deliver a programme of free workshops for young people from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.
Our free workshop programme aims to provide disadvantaged children and young people access to high quality performing arts activities delivered by industry professionals, in the heart of the local community. We want to empower young people to define their own lives by expanding their horizons, alerting them to their own potentials and increasing the number of choices that are available to them.
