We have a really urgent request to support a group of young people in the Brighton and Sussex areas.

Self Managed Learning College (SMLC) is a supportive learning environment, which aims to nurture happy young people. At present 65 young people aged 9 years to 17 years from across Brighton & Hove, East and West Sussex of school age attend each day. 

SMLC have moved buildings in Fishersgate, West Sussex to an adjacent site. The new building needs equipping and turning into an appropriate home for learning. 

We want to use the opportunity to create a building which is truly fit for purpose – incorporating new tech, which encourages creativity and above all to cultivate the College’s inclusive and thriving learning community. 

We are seeking support for a number of bespoke areas of the new building. These range from the hall, arts and music spaces through to a tech room and science lab for STEM learning.
