To supply a service that brings search & rescue resources and personnel to those who find themselves in need of such within the Solent Waterways, Lepe country park and the surrounding local area. Also to help train people who wish to learn more about all aspects of a waterborne rescue craft and it's supporting facilities.

We are aiming to give training to people in the local area of our unit and by doing so, provide an effective rescue service that will benefit the Western Solent through heightened sea safety resources.

Increased Rescue coverage and empowered, motivated and purposeful volunteers joining and staying with the unit.
