We believe in change... people, not problems.
Southside works with people whose lives have been damaged by violence, abuse and neglect. Issues they are dealing with include domestic abuse, mental ill-health, social isolation, homelessness, food poverty and debt.
For over twenty-five years, Southside has been ‘standing behind’ people when they need us, in a non-judgemental, compassionate and encouraging way. We have deep roots in local communities and are known and trusted.
Southside helps to build safety, wellbeing, positive relationships and connections, sense of identity and belonging, and resilience so that each member of the family can thrive. Our approach is informed by lived experience and insight at every level, including staff/volunteers who have been service users.
