The SPACE Project was set up in 2009 to address issues of vulnerability and disadvantage, particularly in the area of low self-esteem in our community. It's now an established outreach project in the Harrow area for young women between the age of 11 to 24. Based in a GP surgery, we work in partnership with health professionals to provide a safe supportive environment, including a one-to-one listening, mentoring and signposting service; local schools outreach; and a specialist self-esteem course.
