Sir Stanley Matthews was a great footballer, and an even greater man. He was passionate about all sports and was extremely keen to see young people develop the same passion.Sir Stanley Matthews Coaching was formed in his name to carry on his principles of creating and sustaining opportunities for young people to enjoy. Partaking in sport as we all know, sport can be a very expensive activity, and can often be a bar to young people participating.

We have given over £100,000 to individuals & sports organisation to help them start & even progress in all sports. This is now more focussed on coaching which helps many more young people.

There has been more help for more young people in more sports. This is evident from the reports back especially from clubs where coaches & the coached have benefitted
