We run workshops and create testimonial plays. We also run workshops for mental health groups. Testimonial theatre is a powerful way to help tell our stories and de-stigmatise mental ill health and promote good mental health and well being.We want the company to be open to more than just users. We want to illuminate the stories of the carers (professional and non-professional) and family and friends.

Why the community needs us
We want to show how mental health effects an entire community. Also we want to try and educate more people about mental illness and to promote tolerance and a better understanding to help rid the stigma which often surrounds mental illness.

Our impact on the community
To help promote tolerance and encourage a better understanding of mental illness and the stigma which often surrounds it. We also want to give a voice to people who find it difficult to speak for themselves. Stepping Stone Theatre For Mental Health spends a vast amount of its time working in the community offering a wide variety of activities including walking groups, writing groups, singing groups and drama groups all under the umbrella of creating a better understanding of mental illness
