Why the community needs us
Our service users suffer the  lifelong effects of the trauma of abuse in childhood, poor mental health, low self-esteem and isolation.  At Stepping Stones North Wales,  we listen, believe and provide professional support to victims and their families, a support network that provides the coping skills to enable people to make that next step on their journey of recovery. Our impact on the community we provide individuals free access to professional support, enabling them to build greater confidence, to become less isolated, have a  better self image, we have seen family life improve, with access to education and awareness sessions enabling individuals to feel part of the community and live their lives to the full and achieve their hopes for them and their family.
