We promote good mental health across East Yorkshire. predominantly in isolated rural areas.
Through providing sets of workshops we support people in building confidence, improving communication skills, managing anxiety and enhancing quality of life through positive self care
Why the community needs usMental health is as important as physical health, and mental health problems affect one in four people. Living in rural areas can add to problems because of lack of resources and transport problems. Our services are free to all who use them and we may also be able to help with travel costs. We also have a minibus which we can use to take people to therapeutic activities in Hull.
Our impact on the communitySince we were formed in 2015, we have supported over 400 people, with many reporting a significant improvement in their mental health and quality of life. Many engage with their community more and good friendships have been formed.
