Palliative care and end of life support for patients, families and carers. Care can be provided in our 9 bed Hospice or in the patient's own home.

We provide specialised end of life care for people living across South Cumbria - from Kendal to Barrow. We provide a 365 day a year service and, although our care is provided free of charge to patients and their families, it is not cost free. We rely on the local community to help us raise £6000 per day to run our vital service.

We provide a 9 bed unit in Ulverston for patients needing hands on nursing or respite care. We provide a 365 day Hospice at Home Service. We provide a range of complementary therapies that can be accessed by patients and carers. We hold a lively and informative Day Hospice service each week. We provide bereavement and family support services. We provide end of life education and training to our colleagues in the wider health care community and in local care homes.
