The Work of Surplus to Supper the charity.
There are three strands to the charity
Redistribution
Food that would otherwise have gone to waste is redistributed for FREE to local charities, schools, nurseries, the ten local foodbanks. This is on a substantial scale with the charity currently collecting and donating on average 8 tonnes of food per week.
Surplus Café and Surplus Shop/Stall
The volunteers at the café, aim to provide food with objective of providing one meal for charity from each meal sold. (Buy one feed one free)
There is also a shop/stall you invited to make mindful donations to the charity for produce which would otherwise go to waste.
Catering for Events
As well as hosting and supplying community events, groups can also hire out the team for private functions such as fine dining experiences, food for parties and weddings etc again providing one meal for charity from each meal sold. (Buy one feed one free)
In we will also provide surplus teas for cricket matches, meals at other club events on a regular basis.
