Survivors' Network supports anyone who has experienced sexual violence at any point in their life
Our aim is to reduce sexual violence and its impact on the lives of survivors. We offer a helpline, drop-in, workshops, counselling and an independent advocacy service. We also deliver training to a wide range of organisations.
Why the community needs usSurvivors' Network aims to reduce sexual violence and its impact on survivors' lives. We are the Rape Crisis Centre for Sussex, and we offer counselling, advocacy, peer support and groupwork as well as training for professionals.
We know that it takes a lot of courage to seek help for the effects of sexual abuse. There is no right or wrong way to feel afterwards and there is no fixed time for recovery. No-one ever asks to be raped or is responsible for their abuse in any way. We believe that with the right support you can heal from your experiences.
No one should be alone when they have experienced sexual violence.
Will you help us to support more children and adults in Sussex in 2020?
Our impact on the communityOur services enable survivors to feel more in control of their lives, have improved health and wellbeing, increase their ability to develop and maintain healthy relationships and become more aware of the options and support available to them
We have a team of fundraising and events volunteers who help us to raise awareness of our services at a variety of events and venues across the county
