Sutton Women's Centre is a key provider of domestic abuse support in the London Borough of Sutton. We offer support to women who have experienced any form of domestic abuse. Our domestic violence services include the Freedom Programme (a support group aimed at survivors of domestic abuse) and counselling. Our range of social and creative activities can help women who have experienced domestic abuse to rebuild confidence and self-esteem, reduce isolation and make new friends.
Our impact on the community
Due to COVID-19 we have had to adapt our services from face to face contact to on-line contact and we are currently supporting 200 per week through our Freedom Programme: 12 week domestic violence programme. Counselling Service: We have 35 volunteer counsellors providing free counselling to victims of domestic/sexual abuse. Art Therapy, facilitated by victim of domestic abuse. We have also seen a huge increase in the number of women requesting food.
