Objectives: * To develop opportunities for digital inclusion and for the local community to have a digital voice. * To promote the sharing of hyperlocal community news and information. * To provide support to local groups and organisations in developing and implementing digital based communication and collaboration. * To consider a variety of options for delivering community cohesion through digital communications.

Sutton Coldfield Local (SCL) provides a platform via its website for information and news about Sutton Coldfield, giving locals the opportunity to comment and submit pieces. Alongside that SCL runs various media based projects such as the Film Making Project for Primary school children and a Digital Photography workshop for people with disabilities. SCL also provides free website support, training & hosting for non profit making organisations within the Sutton Coldfield constituency.
