The aim of Swim Bournemouth is to provide opportunities for all individuals to develop their skills and compete at levels appropriate to their development and maximise their potential as a competitive swimmer. By becoming part of Swim Bournemouth, and its self-development programme, you will take the first step in a journey that will lead you/your children to a world of fitness, confidence and sporting accomplishment that will be of benefit for years to come. The Club currently has around 300 members in their squad program, from children aged 6 years in our Novice squads through to adults looking to keep fit in our Masters section. We also support school swimming and are looking to run an annual Primary Schools Gala as a first taste of competitive swimming. In 2014, the club will look to develop its provision for disability swimming.

In 2013, 15 swim Bournemouth members qualified for the National Swimming Championships, as well as Adrian Todd who represented Botswana at the World Swimming Championships. Additionally, swim Bournemouth have swimmers on the playground to podium pathway for Paralympic Swimming.
